We're committed to making each crumble as humble as possible by making them sustainably.
Here's how our crumbles are eco-friendly*
*ish - we try really hard but there are some ways we could be better - please let us know if you have any suggestions.
- no plastic, please - we do not use single use plastic. Anything that may look like plastic, is actually made from plants (which are 100% biodegradable/compostable).
- reducing food waste - we actually don't have any. We 'batch' cook our crumbles to the demand. Cooking our fruit releases lots of juices which we turn into sorbet. We have limited edition partnerships, where we take the fruits used to flavour gin and make them into... crumble. Literally, taking actual food waste and making it into something delicious. Find out more about the female founded, eco-friendly, award winning distillery, 58Gin, here.
- CO2 miles - we make as much as possible onsite to reduce food miles.
